MEET LUNA
The Dream Creator
Where imagination, creativity, and adventure come together.
Luna is an original character I created for my Character Animation assignment. She represents the things that inspire me most - art, music, storytelling, adventure, and the joy of making beautiful things. From her soft colors to the heart necklace inspired by one my grandmother gave me, every detail was designed with meaning.
This page follows Luna's journey from the very first idea through concept art, character development, model sheets, and eventually animation in Adobe Animate.
Where Stardust Learned to Dream
"Long before she had a name, Luna was simply a spark of imagination woven from stardust, sunshine, and song."
She wasn't born in a faraway kingdom or discovered in an enchanted forest. She came to life somewhere between imagination and creativity, where every melody paints a picture, every adventure becomes a story, and every dream has the chance to become something beautiful.
Luna is curious by nature. She collects little moments the way some people collect treasures. A beautiful sunset, a forgotten melody, a handful of wildflowers, or a new place she's never explored before all find a home in the little purple bag she carries on every adventure. She believes inspiration is everywhere if we're willing to slow down long enough to notice it.
Her greatest joy is creating. She paints with the colors of sunrise, hums songs carried by the wind, and fills sketchbooks with ideas that haven't found their way into the world yet. She reminds me that creativity isn't about being perfect -it's about having the courage to imagine something that doesn't exist yet. In many ways, Luna is a reflection of me.
Art and music have always been more than hobbies. They've been how I've expressed myself, told stories, and found beauty during every season of life. As Luna slowly came to life through brainstorming, sketching, and countless creative ideas, I realized she had become much more than a class assignment. She became a piece of my own heart.

Concept 1 – Finding Luna
June 29, 2026
The first AI-assisted visualization of Luna, created from my original inspiration sketches and creative direction. This concept established her whimsical style and marked the beginning of her journey from imagination to an original character.
The Heart Behind Luna
One of the most meaningful details is the jade heart necklace Luna wears. It's inspired by a necklace my grandmother gave me many years ago. That necklace has always reminded me of love, family, and the people who help shape who we become. Giving Luna her own heart necklace was my way of carrying that memory into her story and allowing a small piece of my own journey to travel with her wherever she goes.
Her oversized bow, fluffy pink fur, striped sleeves, kind smile, and playful spirit were all intentionally designed to make her feel approachable and full of life. Even though she's technically a monster, Luna isn't meant to be scary. She's meant to remind us that creativity, kindness, curiosity, and imagination can be some of our greatest strengths. She encourages people to dream bigger, create more often, and never lose the sense of wonder they had as children.
This portfolio follows Luna's journey from the very first spark of inspiration to a fully developed character ready to be brought to life through animation. Along the way, you'll see the brainstorming process, early concept sketches, character development, model sheets, expressions, and the creative decisions that helped shape who she became.
I have a feeling this is only the beginning of Luna's story. As I continue learning and growing as an artist, Luna will continue growing with me through new illustrations, animations, and adventures.
After all, every dream begins with a little imagination... and sometimes, with a little stardust, sunshine, and song.

Production Model Sheet
June 29, 2026
Once Luna's design was established, I created this comprehensive production model sheet to prepare her for Adobe Animate. It includes character turnarounds, facial expressions, mouth shapes, color palette, pose references, and separated body parts that will serve as the blueprint for recreating and animating her.
More Stardust to Sprinkle...
There's still a little stardust left to sprinkle, a few more songs to sing, and countless dreams waiting to come to life. Luna can't wait to share the next chapter of her adventure with you.
